This movie will introduce Time Machine, which is a utility that does automatic backups and keeps your backup updated over time. It's also the easiest way to restore files that you've lost. With Time Machine, you can restore all of your data in one move or you can restore individual files that you've accidentally deleted. In this movie, we'll set up a Time Machine backup and see how to restore lost files.

So I'm gonna start by connecting…a hard drive to my computer and see what happens.…So this is what you'll see if you connect…a new external hard drive to your computer…that you've never connected before.…It's going to ask you if you want to use this hard drive…for your time machine back up.…And if you do, it's really easy.…You just hit this button that says use as backup disk,…and you're already all set up.…But for now, I'm just gonna say decide later,…
