If you set up separate user accounts for each person that uses your computer, you can keep all of your files and settings separate. When a person signs in to their user account, they will see their own files and libraries and will not be able to access anything that belongs to the other users. Now when you first set up your Mac,…you will have one user account.…That is identified by the name and password…you set when you set up your computer for the first time.…I only have one user account,…and it is an Admin account.…I can see it says it right there underneath the name.…There are different types of user accounts.…Admins have complete control over installing software,…and making high level changes to the system.…And Standard users have limited control.…If you have only one user account,…that account is an Admin.…
