Join Nick Brazzi for an in-depth discussion in this video Organizing pictures in the Photos app, part of macOS High Sierra New Features.
- [Instructor] In High Sierra,…you will find several significant changes…to the Photos application.…In this movie, we're not going to cover everything…that's changed in Photos.…For now, I want to focus specifically…on the organization tools that are different…in this version.…I want to start with the sidebar over here on the left.…In previous versions,…you would see all of your Albums listed here,…as well as different categories…for different types of photos.…You would see a category for Bursts…and another for Panoramas and Selfies and so on.…This has been cleaned up so it's not quite as cluttered.…
All that stuff is still here,…but it's organized more efficiently.…If we take a look at the Library section,…of course, we see different ways to view your collection.…If we go to Photos, you see this master list…of all of the photos and videos in your collection.…But in this section, we also have a choice up at the top…to view all of your Photos just as one big list together,…or to divide them by Moments, Collections, or Years.…
