- [Instructor] In this video, I want to introduce the primary interface controls that you use in macOS, starting with this row up at the top of the screen. This is where you will see menus. And they'll say things like File, Edit, View, and so on. If you click on one, it opens up and gives you lots of commands that you can activate. Now, on the far left side is the system menu, which is identified by this Apple logo. Click on that and you get some system commands like putting the computer to sleep, shutting it down, and restarting, as well as some other important commands. Now, on the far right side is this section called the toolbar. Here, you'll see a button for the control center for Siri and spotlight and probably for the clock. Now, the toolbar on the right and the system menu on the left are always there, but the normal menus in between will change depending on which application you're running. The first menu I see here…
