Customize the dock

- [Instructor] This video is all about customizing the dock. Our main focus is setting up the dock, so it has shortcuts to the applications that you use most often. First, to remove an icon that you do not want in the dock, just right-click on it, go to Options, and choose Remove from Dock. Now, that does not remove the application from your computer. It just removes the shortcut from the dock. So feel free to remove any applications that you don't want in the dock, and you can also change the order by dragging icons left or right on the dock. Next, you should add shortcuts to any other applications that you do want permanently in the dock. First, I'm going to launch some applications. So I'm going to use Launchpad to launch the Dictionary, and I'm also going to launch Calculator.
