Video conferencing with FaceTime

Once upon a time, video calls were considered science fiction. But today, thanks in part to Apple technology, they're increasingly commonplace. We're going to look at one of those technologies now and it's called FaceTime. Now, FaceTime was originally used with the Apple's iPhone, but it's now bundled with the Mac OS, and you need to be connected to the internet to use it. Let's give it a try. So I will launch it from Spotlight. There it is, and my camera turns on, and here I am back on screen.

So what's your seeing now is the FaceTime interface. You'll see a list of my contacts along the right side of the screen. If you look below, I can add Favorite contacts. You can recent calls I've made, and then my Contacts. So, let's suppose I want to add somebody to my Favorites. I'll click on their name and you see this Add to Favorites button.
