- In this movie, let's take a look at a handy…little feature, known as dashboard.…Dashboard gives you a collection…of single use applications, known as widgets.…Want a quick glance at today's weather?…Need to know what time it is in Japan?…Need a quick currency conversion?…You should probably take a minute to set up your dashboard.…Now, dashboard is a separate desktop space,…which is something we saw in the movie on mission control.…So what you want to do is swipe to the left,…to get to dashboard, and there's a few ways you can do that.…
If you have a track pad, you can place four fingers…on the track pad, swipe your fingers to the right,…which moves you to the space on the left.…If you have a magic mouse, you can place two fingers…on the surface of the mouse, and swipe to the right.…But if you don't have a track pad, or a magic mouse,…you can do this with your keyboard.…Just hold the control key on your keyboard,…and hit the left arrow, and that jumps…you over to the dashboard space.…So what you see when you're in dashboard are widgets.…
