Sharing movies

In the previous movies we saw QuickTime X's new capabilities for recording and editing videos. So it makes sense that QuickTime should also include some options for sharing your videos with others. On the QuickTime controller, you will find the Share button and here you will find the options for sharing your video to your iTunes, to your MobileMe Gallery, and to YouTube. Here is also another area where you can access the Trim tools which you saw in the previous movies, but that's not really for sharing so I am just going to click Cancel. So choosing iTunes will export the video to your iTunes library, where you can then watch the video or locate the exported file to burn to a disk or to share in some other fashion.

I will go ahead and select that so you can see how it works. Now depending on the size of your original movie, you may be able to choose among three different styles for your exported video. The example file that I am using here is a pretty small file, so I can only expor...
