Join Elizabeth Haverfield for an in-depth discussion in this video Transaction journals receipts, part of MYOB AccountRight: Reporting Necessities.
Our final listing or report for the day, is our transaction journal listing.…Further down on the sales ledger, you can…see the transaction journal for sales and receivables journal.…Let's display it to screen for the month of January.…Over on the right, we want to see all…of the different types of transactions, just not sales.…So let's nominate all and display it to screen.…Now our data is displayed. In all our different journals, we have…CDs, which are cash dispersements, SJs which are sales invoices,…CRs which are cash receipts, PJs which are purchase orders or bills.…
And right down the bottom, we have a grand total,…that shows $11,693.50 of all the different types of transactions…that have been entered during the month of January.…We don't want to have the job number appearing on this report, so…customize your screen in the Report Fields tab, to remove the job number.…There, that looks better.…Let's expand our columns out to make the data a little bit more…easy to read and save the report so we can use it next month.…
