Join Elizabeth Haverfield for an in-depth discussion in this video Completing the ATO calculation worksheet, part of MYOB AccountRight: Reporting Necessities.
We now need to transfer the values from our…detailed GST Accruals report, onto our GST calculation worksheet.…At the top of your worksheet, you need to…place the quarter, or the date range that you're reporting.…Your company name, Carol's Cleaning, and we need to look at this sheet by…identifying the different field names, G1, G2, G3, G4 and so on.…G1 is…the total sales. So, our total sales is the $6010 of GST…plus $35 of interest for the free tax code.…
So we place $6045 in G1.…Carole doesn't export, so G2 is zero. G3 needs to be the $35 of…interest that came from the free tax code. In G4,…we need a zero. Carole does not have input tech sales.…So G5 is a subtotal of G2 plus G3 plus G4.…G6 is then G1 minus the interest. So that's $6,010,…and remember that figure is the amount over on our detailed GST report for GST.…
We have no adjustments,…so we carry down our balance of $6,010 And then we need to…divide it by 11 to get 10% of $546. And this is our figure over here.…Remember, we don't report cents to the ATO so all our figures are whole dollars.…
