Workbench
- [Instructor] This video is going to be an introduction to the work bench in Modo. The work bench is a customizable panel to which you can add any tools that you frequently use. For example when you're modeling you often start with a cube, sphere, or cylinder primitive. But then as your modeling progresses, you'll need to switch tabs to go to the other editing tools. So for example you might need to go to the deform tab to use the push tool or to go to the polygon tab to use the thicken tool or the bridge tool. And this inevitably means there's a lot of tab switching involved as you work. But the workbench allows you to minimize this, because you can collect all of your most used tools in one place. So let me show you how to set it up. When you initially switch to the workbench panel, you'll see it's completely blank. And that's because you need to populate it yourself with whichever tools you happen to use the most often. And in order to do this, I'm going to click on this edit…
