UV mapping the panels

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to UV map all the various panels around the shoe, starting with this toe panel here. So let's start by opening the Mesh Operators Panel and switching into Edges mode. Then I'm going to hide the background meshes and let's define our first scene, which I'm just going to tuck away on the inside of the panel here. Then I'm going to carry on extending the selection until I've got a scene that goes all the way around the model. Then I'm going to switch my main chair window to a UV view and come over to the Mashup Stack, click on Add Operator. And in the UV section, I'm going to look for UV Unwrap and double-click to add that to the top of the stack. And in order to see the results of this unwrap, I'm going to need to set my UV view to display the default texture. And now we can see the unwrap.
