The Modo layout

- [Instructor] This next look at Modo's UI will be a quick guide to selecting items and changing views. You can select items directly in the OpenGL Viewport or you can select them in the Item list. The end result is exactly the same. And one handy little tip is that if you have items that are nested in the Item list, I'm just going to quickly group these objects together to demonstrate, and you select an item in your OpenGL Viewport, which is nested inside a group in the Item list. If you hover your mouse cursor over the Item list and hit the "F" key, the group will automatically expand to reveal your selected item. Modo artists tend to work in one large OpenGL Viewport. However, if you prefer to work in a more traditional quad viewport layout, this is available at any time, as long as you're in the Modo or Model Modo layouts.
