- [Instructor] In this section, we're going to be looking at polygon operations, specifically tools that allow you to create new geometry based on existing geometry. So I have a single polygon drawn out here, and I'm going to use it to demonstrate the first of these operations, which is the thicken tool. So I'll select the polygon, and then in the polygon tools, I'm going to select the thicken tool and click in the viewport and just drag on the blue handle to thicken that polygon. Then I'll hit the q key to drop the tool. So the thicken tool, as the name implies, is a great way to add thickness to your geometry. And with this top polygon still selected, let's take a look at the extrude tool. So I'm going to click on extrude, and then I'm going to click once in the viewport to activate the tool. You can see that this draws three handles, and these allow me to extrude the polygon in any direction in 3D space. So I'm going to highlight the green handle to extrude my polygon in the…
