- [Instructor] MATLAB is a powerful and flexible program. So powerful, in fact, that it can be difficult to keep track of everything you need to know. In this movie, I will show you how to get help in MATLAB, both by searching the help system and how the program offers to help when you make a mistake. I'm in the main program window and let's say that I want to search the documentation for a particular function. To do that, I can go to the Search Documentation box at the top right corner, it has a magnifying glass icon in the right side. And I'll type in the name of a function, in this case I'll type in isa, which is a function that we encounter in this course. We see a list of functions indicating that isa, the first one, determines if input is an object of a specified class, That is the topic that I want to look for. But you see others that are related. So if I were to click that top item, then the documentation shows up. And I'll expand the window so you can so it a little more…
