Join Mikey Rogers for an in-depth discussion in this video Transform, Slerp and Warp tools, part of Learning MARI.
- So there's a whole lot more we can do to our image…before we commit it to texture space.…Some of MARI's most powerful tools allow us to tweak…and fine tune the Paint and the Paint Buffer,…to assist in things like model or texture flow…to line things up just right.…To get an example of this,…let's go back to our Image Manager.…Let's take a look at our roof here,…and get in,…kind of frame it up.…Let's grab this image into our Paint Buffer…and use our Scale shortcut to bring that down,…and rotate this a bit.…
We'll go ahead and…just paint something down here real quick…using our Paint Through tool.…And if we go over here to the left,…we see this little hand and that's…the Transform Paint Buffer tool,…and what this allows us to do is…you see how our image alpha goes away?…Right now the paint is still live in the view port,…and in a previous movie,…we talked about how there's edges of the Paint Buffer…and we reset it to take up the entire view port.…
But as we're moving this around,…we can see those edges show up again.…
