Exposing for V-Log L with scopes

- When you're shooting V log, just like when you're shooting any other standard profile, getting the exposure right is critically important. In V log you actually do have a little bit more wiggle room, however how you expose and meter the shot is actually quite a bit different, and in some ways even more important to get right. So, I want to take you through how to properly meter and gauge your shot using the built in tools on the GH5. Now you're probably used to metering using a histogram if you come from the world of photography, you most certainly are used to this, and even in video, you're probably used to looking at a histogram as well. However, the GH5 has built in something called waveform monitors, which give you a lot more information than a basic histogram will. Not only can you see more accurately what is exposed, but you can see the entire shot spread across the scene, and see where your exposure goes up and down.
