Customizing what you see

- When it comes to the LCD display, or the EVF, the LCD of course is the display on the back of the camera, the EVF is the electronic viewfinder. What you see when you're looking at it or through it is entirely up to you. It is an extremely customizable interface, not only covering the icons that you see on the screen but also covering how you see your image. So we're just going to go through a variety of menu options exploring all the different choices that we have and explaining of course what each one does. To set these you go into the menu system and from the custom wrench menu, go to Monitor / Display, and we're going to start here with Monochrome Live View. Now Monochrome Live View allows you to view your display through the camera in black and white, in monochrome, even though you're shooting in color. Some people prefer to work this way because it allows them to focus more on the composition and less about the colors and other things that are happening in the scene. But it's…
