There are no exercise files accompanying this Luminar training. Luminar is a modern image editor for both platforms. It provides photographers with the tools they need to creatively edit their images quickly and easily.
- [Instructor] So, exercise files. There won't be any accompanying this particular training. And it's not because I want to be mean or anything, honestly (laughs). The reason why is that when I first starting working on Luminar 2018, there were a fair amount of differences between the Mac version and the Windows version, and I was concerned that someone on one platform or the other would open one of the Luminar files and have a much different experience than what they're seeing on the screen.
I don't want that to happen. We decided to go ahead and recommend that you pull up your own image. For instance, if I'm working on a portrait, pull up a portrait of yours. If I'm working on a landscape, do the same thing. Then follow along with your shots. Now the benefit to you is at the end of three, four, five movies, you have a wonderful shot that's yours that you can do things with as opposed to just having one of my shots hanging around on your hard drive that you got to figure out what to do with.
So in the end I think it's going to work out okay. But I just wanted you to know there was a real reason why we don't have exercise files with this particular training. Up the road, who knows? When we revisit this we may look at if differently, but right now, pull up your own shots, follow along, and let's have a lot of fun making our images better with Luminar 2018.
