Top & Bottom Lighting helps you to improve the top and bottom areas of your image. In this video, Derrick Story shows you how to use the Top & Bottom Lighting filter. - [Instructor] Top and bottom lighting…is similar to the adjustable gradient…that I talked about in the last movie…in that you can work on both the top…and the bottom part of the scene,…and you probably didn't need me to explain that to you.…However, there is a little bit of difference…between the two and I use them both…and they're not interchangeable for me.…On the adjustable gradient,…we also have warmth and vibrance and contrast and exposure.…So we have four different sliders…that allow us to work on…the two different areas of the image.…
Top and bottom lighting is just lighting.…You just focus on lighting the top and lighting the bottom…and a lot of times I don't want to mess with the other stuff…I just want a nice clean adjustment…on either the sky or the foreground.…And this image is a perfect example.…Let me do a before and after.…I've already applied the adjustment.…So there's where we were.…It was an overcast day.…The shot's a little over exposed.…It's kind of blah.…So what I did was I applied top and bottom lighting.…
