The History menu makes it easy to go back in time to an earlier edit. In this video, Derrick Story shows you how to use the History menu in Luminar. Luminar is a modern image editor for both Mac and PC platforms. It provides photographers with the tools they need to creatively edit their images quickly and easily.
- [Instructor] I've talked about history in passing…but I think I want to spend a couple of minutes…on it right now.…It's so powerful and it's so useful.…It's worth a little bit of our attention.…So, let's see here.…Well, let's pick a document…that actually has some history.…So I'm going to come here to File.…Open Recent.…And what do we have?…How about this Redwood shot.…There's a lot of history there.…Has all those layers and I saved it…as a Luminar file.…So this will also prove to you…that saving as a Luminar file…saves all your layers and all the work…so you can come back to it…at another point if you wish…and keep working on it.…
So I'll click on that.…Let's see what happens here.…So it'll take a moment to load.…There's a lot of stuff going on…and there's our image.…With finishing touches selected as our top layer.…But I'm going to go ahead and hide layers right now…because I'm more interested in the specific adjustments…that I made, not so much the layers.…And I can do that here at History.…So look at this.…Look at all these things.…
