Luminar has a handful of detail-enhancing filters. In this video, Derrick Story shows you how to use the Sharpening filter and other detail-oriented filters. Luminar is a modern image editor for both Mac and PC platforms. It provides photographers with the tools they need to creatively edit their images quickly and easily.
- [Instructor] I'm going to finish off this image…with two more of my noteworthy filters,…structure, and sharpening.…And I like both of these.…There are other detailed filters in Luminar…and they're all good…but these are the two that make my noteworthy list.…Before I apply them,…let's go ahead and clean up this image with a crop.…It's been dying for a crop…the whole time I've been working on it (laughs).…And I'm finally going to get around to it.…We'll do it right now.…I just want to fix that horizon line there.…
And I'll bring this in right here, just like this.…And then I'll click on done.…And hopping back to Vignette for a moment,…remember we selected postcrop…and it's nice because now our vignette is reconfigured…to adjust to the crop.…And if we go to pre-crop,…you'll see that it isn't as strong…because some of the vignetting got cropped out.…So we're in good shape.…Let's go on to structure.…One of the things I like about structure is…that the amount slider goes both ways.…
I can increase the detail…or I can decrease it.…
