- [Instructor] When Skylum released Luminar 2018, version 1.1.1 for the Mac, one of the changes that was in that update was better RAW processing. And, I notice the difference right away. In fact, that update came while I was recording this title. So, I'd go, alright, that's great. (laughing) I was very happy about that. So, I want to show you RAW Develop and, as such, now that I'm really pleased with the RAW processing in this application, I have added RAW Develop to our list of noteworthy filters, must have filters that I use all the time. And, it should really go at the top of the list. And, RAW Develop allows us to set the baseline processing for a RAW file. So, we have some say in how RAW files are processed in Luminar. And, of course, that's part of the beauty of RAW. JPGs come out of the camera fully baked, fully cooked and ready to go, where as RAWs, all of our options are open. And, having a RAW Develop filter allows us to kind of set the baseline to what we like and then we…
