In this quick-start chapter, Derrick Story shows you how to open a file in Luminar and apply a preset. Luminar is a modern image editor for both platforms. It provides photographers with the tools they need to creatively edit their images quickly and easily.
- [Instructor] Welcome to our quick start chapter.…That's right (laughs).…It's going to be fun, actually.…What I'm going to do over the next few movies…is I'm going to take you through the whole process…from start to finish, so you can have an overview…of how the Luminar 2018 workflow works.…Then after that, in the subsequent chapters,…we'll start digging down…into some of my favorite techniques.…Right now, I want to show you an overview,…and we're going to start by opening an image, of course.…Now, you don't need me to figure out…how to open an image in this application…'cause we have a giant blue button right there.…
I'm going to click on that…and we'll come over to my master folder of images,…and I'm going to pick this JPEG.…We can open JPEGS or raws.…Chances are very good…that your camera's supported with this application.…You should see something like this,…which is a nice, big browser window,…and then some thumbnails down here.…These thumbnails represent presets.…We're going to talk about presets in this movie.…
