- [Instructor] As good as our cameras are these days, when we push the envelope, such as shooting at night as I have here, we will pick up a little bit of noise. Now, sometimes I'm fine with the noise and sometimes I like to tame it. For those instances when I'd like to tame it, the denoise filter, which is right here, is very good in Luminar and definitely belongs in our list of noteworthy filters and I have added it as such. Now, to really show you how this works, I'm just going to zoom in. So, I'm going to do command plus here and let's take a look at this noise. I'm going to go in a bit more. There we go. There's some good noise for you. (laughing) Now, that's actually a luminosity noise. There's no color artifacts that I can see. So, all we have to do is go to our denoise filter and just move the slider. I'm going to move it all the way to give you the full effect and then I'll boost it as well. And the noise is gone. Before.
