What is Lucidchart?

- [Narrator] Lucidchart is a dynamic visualization tool that lets you diagram your ideas, information and processes in easy-to-absorb charts and visuals. Take a look at this basic org chart which shows the hierarchy of people working on a team. This is a great way for a company to visualize its hierarchy as well as store and display important information about its employees. Or this dynamic idea board where some people on the same team are able to brainstorm in real time on a work-related project. People can collaborate and communicate with one another and generate a wide range of ideas to get quick feedback from the team. Now, look at this flowchart which clearly shows a diagram of a customer process. Being able to clearly and efficiently show a process, concept or idea so that others are able to conceptualize the information can result in increased understanding, greater perspective and better, more actionable decision-making. Notice how easy it is to share information with others, both synchronously, if real-time interaction is important, or asynchronously, if it's more important for collaborators to dig deeper into the chart data on their own time. And even if team members aren't in the same location or are using different desktop and mobile devices or different operating systems, this type of browser-based collaboration is easy. Imagine all the different ways you can use diagrams. There are so many possibilities. And know that as you begin to get inspired, you can start from scratch if you want total control from the ground up, or you can take advantage of more than 500 templates to get up and running quickly.
