- As I said at the top of the course, logo design is a vast topic. Easily, the work of an entire career and there are many, many sources of inspiration online, in print, and just looking around. I'd like to thank Bill Gardner and the crew at logolounge.com. LogoLounge is a pretty remarkable online database of a quarter million logos searchable by style, by designer, by client. Many attributes. It's a great place to go just to look around for ideas, to see trends, to see what's being done. One caveat, though, it's easy to get lost in that candy store, so budget your time accordingly. I think my favorite instructional book is called Logo Design Love by designer David Airey. Well worth the small investment. Mr. Airey has impeccable taste and a real heart for teaching. And his book is so simple, so easy to read and learn from. When you're finished watching here your next stop should be Amazon. Just buy it. Google is a surprising resource. Just Google the kind of logo you're interested in…
