Join Todd Howard for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know before watching this course, part of Learning Songwriting: Logic Pro.
While it would be helpful to have a basic working knowledge of Logic Pro before taking this course, you may not need it if you pick up software quickly. That said, if you'd like to understand the basics before watching this course, do check out Logic Pro X Essential Training with Scott Hirsch and Dot Bustelo's courses on Making Beats in Logic Pro X. And also, New Ways to Create Music with Logic Pro X. You can watch these courses alongside this one to reference specific topics that I may not dive into very deeply here.
If questions arise about specific buttons, preferences, processes, etc while watching this course, for example, let's say you want to know everything there is to know about Track Stacks, just watch the Working with Track Stacks video in the Logic Pro X Essential Training course. And then hop right back over to Songwriting in Logic Pro. If you have experience using Logic, then there are no prerequisites for this course and you can simply dive right in. I hope you enjoy it and get some valuable tips and inspiration for your own songwriting.
