What you should know before watching this course

In this course on making beats in Logic Pro X I'll be assuming you have a decent understanding of Logic's workflow. In the beginning of the course I will point out some of the basic tools and areas of the Logic interface. If you need a refresher on any of this, you might want to check out the the Logic Pro X Essential Training course with Scott Hirsch. You can also check out my Logic Pro X new features, and new ways to create music and Logic Pro X courses, to dig a little deeper into the amazing new tools in this most recent logic release. Additionally and this is something that a lot of people miss in the new version of Logic Pro. You'll need to make sure you've downloaded all the content that comes with logic. By default only the essential files are included in the main install. And you'll need to get the additional drum sounds, loops, presets, and samples by going to this Logic Pro X menu, and choosing Download Additional Content. It may take a while downloading but everything you need will then be installed. I'll be sharing with you production techniques that are essential to how I make beats, that you should be able to apply to any genre of music.
