Join Dot Bustelo for an in-depth discussion in this video What you should know before watching this course, part of New Ways to Create Music with Logic Pro X.
Throughout this course, I'll be showing you new ways to create music in Logic Pro 10. While these techniques should be approachable for anyone using Logic, I recommend watching my Logic Pro 10 New Features course here on lynda.com. I also recommend having some basic working knowledge of a digital audio workstation. Whether that be an earlier version of Logic or another doll like ProTools, GarageBand or Ableton Live. For the movies dealing with logic remote for iPad you will need to use your own iPad on the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac currently running Logic.
You can download Logic Remote for free from the iOS App Store. If you'd like a refresher on the basics of digital audio recording, mixing, signal routing, or music production, you may want to check out the essential training course appropriate for your digital audio workstation. Other than that, all you need is a desire to expand how you create music, whether for sound design, composition, performance, or production projects.
