Using the Vibrato/PWM dial

So the next thing let's check out is this Vibrato/Pulse Width Modulation knob. So depending on what waveform we have selected, it's either going to act as a pitch modulation--or sometimes that's referred to as vibrato--or it's going to modulate the pulse width. So if I have the wave set to the sawtooth waveform--so I'll do that here-- and I adjust the amount of this Vibrato control here, you are going to hear a pitch modulation. So I'll play a note and listen. (music playing) So you can hear that subtle pitch movement happening.

The more that I move this knob to the right the greater that pitch modulation is going to be. (music playing) If I move this all the way to the right, you're going to have a really wide vibrato, or a really large pitch modulation. (music playing) Same is true if I set this to the square wave. So let's try that. (music playing) Right, pitch modulation. Also, the other thing I can do is to adjust the speed of that. So if I want there to ...
