Sub-bass secrets
- [Voiceover] Once you've created a bass line that you're happy with, you may want to add some sub bass. You might want to do this particularly if, you're making dance music to make your track work for the dance floor. But also if you have a bass line that is a little bit more, kind of mid range based, you can add a sub bass underneath your more mid range bass to give it a fuller sound. So, we have our bass line that we've created in the last video. I'm just going to close out of these plug-ins and I'm going to show you a technique that isn't necessarily a traditional technique, but it's one I've picked up over the years, and it's a cool way to just quickly add some sub bass. I'm going to create a new software instrument track by hitting Command, Option, S, which will add a software instrument track. We're gonna go to instruments, and we're actually gonna go to Logix ESX 24 sampler. I'm going to load up a mono version of this plug-in, because this is a bass line and a lot of times…
