- [Instructor] The first step in mixing a vocal…is to get rid of any elements of the signal…we do not need nor do we want…affecting the processing in our vocal chain.…Let's start by removing any low frequency information…that is not needed for our vocal mix.…I'm going to go ahead and open our mixer.…And I'm going to route our main layers to the same bus,…which will be going to over here on Aux1.…So we'll just name that Verse Main.…
Now up here to remove these unnecessary low frequencies…I'm going to open our EQ in Logic Pro.…And we're going to go over here…and we're going to press that button there…and then we're going to slide this…to about the 100 range, 100 hertz.…And I'm going to turn on the analyzer…so you can see what we're going to be cutting here.…So if I press play, let me solo our verse here.…
