- The first stop for me on the Effects Odyssey has got to always be the parametric EQ. There are so many things you can do with it, so many problems you can solve. Let's get into it. I think that equalizers are just such a beautiful thing because it's such a simple tool that can take you such a long way. Fundamentals of EQ are among the most important things that you can learn about audio production and audio processing and EQs are just so versatile. We're going to start out with probably the most versatile EQ plugin, the channel EQ. You can instantiate it just by double clicking, where it says EQ in your tracking logic.
