Loading samples in Ultrabeat can be the first step in making stutter effects for Vocals or other instruments in sound effects inside theStep Grid. I've got a basic 808 kit loaded in Ultrabeat. I'm going to select the Claps Drum voice. Now this second oscillator is where samples are triggered. If I switch the sound source type of oscillator two from phase oscillator to sample and let's be sure to enable this sound generator. Now I see the view of attribute Sample Editor. Click into the top of the Sample Editor to load a Sample. Right here, load Sample. I'll navigate to one of my secret snares. I'm just going to go to the Desktop and into the project folder for this session. If you have the exercise files go into exercise of three or four Audio Files, and grab any one that you like just previewing. Let's go with this one.
