Filtering and fuzz
- [Instructor] Logic has some filtering effects that can be really fun and interesting for sound processing that are a little bit different from the types of filters you'd use just to clean up mixes. So let's go ahead and take a look at this bass. This is again, our friend, the profit bass. (upbeat funky music) Alrighty, let's start right out of the gate with the Fuzz-wah. Alright. Fuzz-wah is sort of emulating some old school types of sounds. You might get on like a Clavinet or something like that. It's essentially an Auto-wah, which is kind of like a band pass filter, a super resonant band pass filter that moves as signal goes through it. So you get kind of this wow, wow thing. And then we have the addition of a compressor and a fuzz. So let's take a listen to this. (funky music) And we need to push the depth of the modulation, that helps.
