Join Scott Hirsch for an in-depth discussion in this video Backing up and archiving to Gobbler, part of Logic Pro X New Features.
- The Alchemy synth isn't the only new…and exciting feature in Logic Pro 10.2.…With this release it was announced…that Logic now integrates the audio centric…cloud based collaboration and archived…back up service called Gobbler.…Let's see how this works inside Logic.…Here I have a song I was working on.…It might not be finished but I was editing…and I need to mix it.…So right now, it's a rough mix.…With the help of Gobbler, I can archive it here…at my studio up to the cloud,…and then access it later on my home machine, for example.…
First, you need to set yourself up…with a Gobbler account over at Gobbler.com.…It's free to do this and you get…five gigabytes of storage space.…I assume in the future, there'll be more space for a fee.…Then you'll download the small Gobbler app…that runs on your system in the background.…You can see it up here even though…I'm not currently logged in yet.…From here, you can access all of your Gobbler archives…and link to your Gobbler files…to send them to other collaborators.…
Back in Logic, once you're ready to access Gobbler,…
