- [Narrator] In this movie I'm going to quickly walk you through some of the basics for using Ableton Live including the instruments and effects that we're going to be using in this course. If you're already familiar with Ableton Live, you may want to skip this movie but if you're new to the program, stick around and we'll dive in so you can get started quickly. So, in Ableton Live's default state we have two MIDI and two audio tracks. I'm just going to actually delete the two audio tracks so that we just have our two MIDI tracks. One of the nice things about Ableton Live is that it's really easy to organize sounds as clips in this nonlinear view here, and keep track of everything. We can also rename sounds by hitting Command, R. And I could go to for example Left Navigation. I'll rename this other one quickly as Right Navigation. So that's just a quick way to keep track of your tracks in your project as you go through and make different variations to sounds on different clips. Live…
