Linux Quick Tips covers a wide range of topics relevant to anyone interested in broadening their skills with Linux concepts and administration.
- Hi, I'm Scott Simpson, and welcome to Linux Tips Weekly. In this series, I'll cover a range of topics from system basics to specific tools. And with one byte-sized video releasing every week, you can keep learning all year long. If you're just getting started with Linux, this series will be helpful for you to explore and broaden your experience. We'll start off the first couple of weeks with the foundations with a look at what Linux is, and what different distributions are available. After that, I'll start mixing it up a little bit, and we'll jump around in a few different topics.
Throughout the series, we'll see how to operate a system, and we'll explore some shells and system administration topics. We'll explore the file system, and spend some time learning how to work with text in different ways. I'll introduce you to package management, and working with remote resources, along with process management, multi-tasking, networking, and security. And we'll get into hardware, desktops, troubleshooting, and more. Check back every week to find the latest video.
