(dramatic music) - [Narrator] Final systems in Linux are very important. It's important that you have at least a basic understanding of Linux directory structures. You'll find a similar directory structure on all Linux distributions. So if you know a little bit at least about the directories that you have by default on Linux systems, it helps you find files. Now in the same way as on a Windows system, if you want to find files, you need to know where to go. So if you were looking for a specific file, you would know as an example that program files contains the executables of applications on your system. As an example, CCCleaner is a Windows application found in program files, but other program files are found under program files X86. So as an example, here's the SolarWinds Response Time Viewer. You would know that certain system files are found under Windows, system32. So in the same way as on Windows or Mac OS, you need to get at least a basic understanding of the Linux directory…
