Teaming and bonding using the GUI

- [Instructor] We've covered two different methods of creating network bonds and teams, neither of which are difficult if you know what you're doing. However, if you like using the GUI, you can do that as well. In this video, we'll look at the GUI tool that is available to create the same type of link aggregation. You can be logged into either VM if you wish. I'm logged into my rhhost two VM with a terminal open. Let's start by running the network manager connection editor command. In a terminal type in nm-connection-editor, and hit enter. This actually starts a GUI tool. Now click the plus icon in the bottom left. This will bring up a window prompting us to choose the connection type. Click on the menu, and go down to Bond. We can see that we have both Bonds, and Teams. Now click on Create. In the next window we can create a new bond. At the top we input the name of the link. Next we can click on the Add button to add connections. Click on Add. This will ask us the type of interface.…
