- [Grant] Thank you for joining me in this course. In this course, we covered how to gather information about Linux files, including file types, ownership, and permissions. We delved into how to create files and manage them, including copy, move, and delete. We learned about the standard Linux permission system and how to give users access to the resources they need. We also covered the special bits that allow privilege, escalation, and inheritance. After learning about the limitations to standard Linux permissions, we covered access control lists and their many advantages. We learned about ACL inheritance and neat tricks like backing up our permissions to make our lives easier. This isn't the end, and I encourage you to keep learning. I'd like to recommend that you go to my author page and check out my other Linux courses in the library. Check back often as we are adding content monthly. Again, my name is Grant McWilliams, and thank you for watching.
