Migrate a virtual machine between two hosts

- [Instructor] If you're working in an environment with more than one system that hosts virtual machines, you can migrate virtual machines between them, as long as the storage for those machines is hosted on a shared data source, like an NFS server. Migrating a running virtual machine transfers the running state and contents of memory from one hypervisor to another of the same type, which lets you allocate guests between machines if need be for performance reasons or if you need to take down a hypervisor for service. In order to show you how the migration works, I've set up a little bit more of a lab in order to support that. If you'd like to follow along with the migration, take a few minutes and set up an environment like mine. Or just sit back and watch. In addition to the host that I've been using so far, I have another machine set up, running libvirt with SSH enabled. And I have an NFS server on a third machine, with an export that's mounted at the same path on both of my hosts…
