- [Scott] I'm Scott Simpson. As a system administrator, it's important to be familiar with how email works. And, in this short course, we'll take a look at the basics of configuring the postfix and dovecut services to set up an email server. Because this course is intended to get you started with the fundamentals of email services, we won't cover the more advanced features of configuration or the more basic features of setting up networking and domain names and all of that. We'll take a look at installing the services and in securing them for remote access. And we'll test them out with a mail client. Let's go.
