- [Instructor] In this video, we will walk through a graphite installation on an Ubuntu 1604 virtual machine. First, we will update our system to the latest stable version by running the following commands. First run soodo apt-get-y update and type in the password for soodo. Next, we'll type soodo apt-get-y upgrade. Next, once the system is updated, we can reboot the system to ensure all the changes from the above commands are applied to the system. So to do that we type, soodo-reboot. After rebooting our machine, we will login, and we're ready to install graphite. As explained in earlier videos, graphite is comprised of several components. Each of which are available in Ubuntu default repository. The following command will install the carbon storage backend, whisper database library, and graphite web allocation. So, I'll start hitting enter and then I'll type soodo apt-get-y install and I'll install graphite web and graphite carbon. And I'll type in my password. This prompt asks…
