- [Instructor] If you have access to the Exercise Files for this course, you can download them. After you've installed Linux on your virtual machines, you'll want to download the Exercise Files ZIP archive to your Downloads directory using a web browser. Once the file is downloaded, double-click the ZIP archive. Click on Extract, select your Home directory, and click on Extract again. This will extract the folder into your Home directory, which should be /home/user1. The Exercise Files for this course are contained in a folder named Exercise Files. Inside are directories for each chapter with files useful for the exercises. If you're viewing this course on a mobile device, a set top box, or your membership doesn't provide access to the Exercise Files, don't worry.
