Create and repair XFS file systems: RHCE Cert Prep: Advanced Disk Systems and System Backup

The new default file system on Enterprise Linux 7 is X Filesystem or XFS. Formatting a drive with XFS is no different than with ext4 in that we can use the mkfs command. Repairing an XFS drive is a bit different and we need to use the xfs_repair command. Also of note is the xfs_admin, xfsdump for backups, and xfs_growfs which lets an administrator resize an XFS drive to a larger size.
