Create a mail gateway

- [Instructor] For this exercise, we'll need two virtual machines running with the existing working configuration. Rhhost2 will be our mail gateway. We will configure the post-fix service to relay all mail from the network, to the mail server. You may or may not get this scenario on the RHCE Exam, but we're covering it just in case. Login to rhhost2 and open a terminal. Now install postfix using yum. Type in sudo space yum space install space - y space postfix, and hit enter. Type in your password if prompted. This will install postfix if it is not already installed from the previous exercise. As soon as it's installed, edit the /etc/postfix/main.cf file vi. Type in clear, then type in sudo space vi space /etc/postfix/main.cf and hit enter. We're going to edit this file pretty quickly. Use forward slashes to find the parameters, and then set them to the values that I specify. First we'll start with myhostname. Type in /myhostname and hit enter. Set myhostname to rhhost2.localnet.com…
