- [Instructor] Entire tuned profiles can be created or certain settings of existing profiles can be replaced. Let's create a custom profile. System profiles are stored in user lib tuned. Each profile has its own directory. Let's go there and look. Type in cd space /usr/lib/tuned, and hit Enter. Type in ls. Here we see all of our installed tuned profiles. Let's see the end of the desktop directory and look at the tuned.conf file. Type in cd space desktop and type in ls. We can see our tuned.conf file. Let's load this into less. Type in less space tuned.conf. Hit Enter. Here we see all the settings in the desktop profile. We don't want to edit these directly though. Press Q to quit and cd to the parent directory by typing in cd space .., and then type in ls. If you want a complete custom profile, you can just recursively copy one of these profile directories into etsy tuned and then modify it there.
