A bit more complicated than creating a standard partition based iSCSI LUN is using an LVM logical volume. In this case, take a partition and make it a physical volume, add it to a volume group, and create a logical volume in the group. Then, take this logical volume and create a backstore using it. Add the backstore to the target by creating a LUN and then access it on the initiator.
